Mike Jaeger is the managing director of Wolff trifft Jaeger GmbH, which sits in Hamburg. He began working in events and live productions back in 1991. Working as a stage manager, he was responsible for ensuring the smooth running of many famous theatre and musical productions, including The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Les Miserables and Chicago.

International production companies such as The Really Useful Group and Stage Entertainment sought out his expertise for planning and staging musicals in Europe’s most important musical cities, including London, Hamburg and Amsterdam. Jaeger also acted as a project coordinator for international productions.

Jaeger began working on complex productions in the event management sector in 1996, and since 1999 he has devoted himself almost entirely to live communication, taking responsibility at leading event agencies for brand presentations and corporate presentations in the automotive, mobile communication and pharmaceutical industries. Highlights in his career as producer include the “Zukunft der Arbeit” (Future of work) theme park at the Expo 2000, a Europe-wide project involving France, Belgium and Germany in Hanover, and the product launch for the BMW E65, which was the largest and most comprehensive launch event ever put on by the German automotive industry with 4,500 guests attending the event in Berlin.

He founded Wolff trifft Jaeger GmbH with Bernhard Wolff in 2003. To see a list of clients, please consult the references on our website. In collaboration with our partners, we have developed two particular areas of expertise – carbon neutral events and events that conform to the FSA Kodex, the German code of conduct for the pharmaceutical industry.

Since 2009 Mike Jaeger has been the sole owner and CEO of Wolff trifft Jaeger GmbH.

He also lectures at institutions, universities and businesses including ebam, macromedia and the German Business Academy, providing courses and further training for their up-and-coming event management professionals; and regularly appears as a speaker at conferences on live communication, events conforming to the FSA Kodex and climate neutral events.

He is an examiner for event management courses at the Handelskammer Hamburg and a member of the further education commission in Nuremburg.
